For the first time, the Faculty of History and Cultural Studies will offer this lecture series which is organized by KAMI, the international office of the departments of Art History, Ancient and Classical Studies and Musicology. Students will have the possibility to gain insight into the broad range of research projects and dissertations, which will be presented by PhD students and Post-Docs in individual lectures. These will thematically shift between topics from History, Musicology, Art History, Classical Archaeology, Egyptology, Classical Studies, Byzantine Art History, Ethnology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies and provide students with an interdisciplinary approach to studying the humanities by introducing them to the diversity of research questions, methods, sources and theses.
